Borough Siren
This morning the fire alarm went off multiple times using the long single tone. I’ve recently been informed it was due to low voltage condition in the Borough. Met ed is currently working on this problem.
I do know when I tried going online earlier, I couldn’t start the computer and the wi-fi was knocked out as well. Lights in our home were dim, but appear to be working properly now.

Halloween Parade Info
2010 NAZARETH HALLOWEEN PARADE
THE 2010 NAZARERTH HALLOWEEN PARADE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, OCT 16TH, 2010 STARTING AT 1PM. A RAIN DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED IF NECCESARY.
THE PARADE IS SPONSORED BY THE NAZARETH VIGILANCE HOSE COMPANY NO 1 AND THE NAZARETH AREA KIWANIS CLUB.
THE PARADE ROUTE WILL BE THE SAME AS LAST YEAR.
REGISTRATION DATES FOR THE PARADE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
MONDAY, OCT 4TH 7-9PM, THURSDAY, OCT 9TH 7-9PM, SATURDAY, OCT 9TH 10-12noon AND THURSDAY, OCT 14TH 7-9PM.
ALL REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD AT THE NAZARETH FIREHOUSE.
THERE WILL BE CASH PRIZES FOR ALL PARADE WINNERS AND ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A HOT AND SODA AT THE END OF THE PARADE.

Nazareth Resident Nominated for Mid Atlantic Emmy
The Express-Times reports that Nazareth resident Karen Trionfo was recently nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award (read the article here).
Trionfo produces the show “Neighborhood Chef” on WFMZ channel 69, which features Giuliano Liberatore, also of Nazareth.
