The Miss Pennsylvania Pageant is taking place this week at Nazareth High School and will feature a hometown contestant - Melanie Hildebrandt.
Both the Express-Times and the Morning Call featured articles on the pageant over the weekend.
While contestants will participate in many activities throughout the Lehigh Valley this week (the Express-Times also included a schedule), competition begins on Wednesday at the High School and concludes on Saturday.
Best wishes to Melanie, who was reported in the Morning Call article as the first Nazareth HS graduate to participate in the event.
