Former Resident Speaks About His Job in NASCAR

Chuck Givler of the Express-Times has a nice piece (read it here) on former Nazareth resident Kevin Buskirk in advance of this weekend's NASCAR event at Pocono.

When you consider about 40 cars run on any given weekend and that many teams have more than one entry, there are only a handful of teams to work for and not too many opportunities for employment. The fact that Buskirk not only works in NASCAR, but has worked for Joe Gibbs racing (who has a few Cup Championships to go with his Super Bowl trophies) and is now with Richard Childress Racing, best known as owner of Dale Earnhardt's legendary #3 car, shows he is not just in it, but at the top of it.

Best wishes to Kevin in his career and thanks to Chuck for highlighting someone other than a driver.
