NewsOverCoffee's 1st Readers' Poll Results

On 7/7/07 I placed a "reader's poll" on the homepage asking:

Should Nazareth Council Build a New Government Center?
Yes, it's needed. (5%)
Yes, but not in a residential area. (8%)
No, renovate the existing building. (67%)
No, renovate a different site. (17%)

(Ignore the radio buttons, this is for display only)
In 17 days there were 34 respondents and the percentages of the vote are noted above. I thought more people would have participated, but then I noticed that the results window was opened 353 times showing more were interested in the result than voted (there were 265 unique visitors during this time so some obviously came back for seconds).

Now I'm going to close this one out and start a new one asking, "Did Council violate the Sunshine Law?" Again answer choices will be qualified. I'll leave this poll up until the week of August 13.

Don't forget to Vote!

I don't see any place to vote on this poll. Are you hiding it in the dark?

Bernie,

No, I'm hiding it on the homepage. Should have clarified that a bit better, sorry.

The poll and on-going results are available at http://www.newsovercoffee.com

Thanks for the note,

Ross
