I read with interest the article on the Clavichord at the Whitefield House in Saturday's Morning Call (read it here and related article in the Express-Times, here).
It seems this particular instrument, on display daily at the Whitefield House, is the first one made in America and probably the only one by David Tannenberg. A group of scholars studied the instrument this week in Nazareth.
One can only wonder what other treasures are tucked away awaiting to be discovered...
