Recent conversations on NewsOverCoffee, particularly related to the Strike and the Elementary Specials, will most likely be addressed at tonight's school board meeting (7:30 p.m. in the Board Room).
Given the informational blackout, don't expect any information related to the strike to be discussed. What would be helpful for the student-athletes, however, would be an indication as to whether or not they will be able to compete and if this can't be relayed, what the process will be between the 21st and 25th to determine the status of their participation and how they will be informed.
The other issue that recently surfaced was the potential sinkhole at the Mitchell Avenue Field Hockey Field, site of much of the proposed new building and facilities development.
If you attend the meeting tonight, please take a few moments to post comments here relating the comments and answers as well as other meeting information that may be of interest to readers.

Hey Ross, was hoping to see some school board news posted here tonight but I am having problems accessing ur site. Can get here via home.att.net/~noc-team but not through www.newsovercoffee.com.

Not sure why this page wouldn't have loaded. It is hosted by Google and typically very reliable.
The home page is hosted by ATT and I do know that for several hours last week it was down.
Sorry I didn't get this sooner - was watching the Steelers - ugh!
