Halloween Happenings

A reminder that Trick or Treat Night in the Borough, Lower, Upper, Tatamy, and Stockertown is on Halloween Night (Tuesday, October 31) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Morning Call has a list (read it here) and according to it you could trick or treat Sunday, Tuesday, or Friday depending on where you live in the Lehigh Valley.

Also, a note was sent home to Shafer students regarding the "Fall Celebration" (read Halloween). The parade will be held on Tuesday and will include all grades. Students are to bring, not wear their costume to school, and are reminded not to bring anything resembling a weapon of any kind.

Parents are invited to attend the parade which will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Pictured above is a photo taken by my younger daughter from her pre-school's pumpkin carving night this past Tuesday. She had a great time scooping one seed at a time from our pumpkin - not pictured above - and carving her one of a kind Koala Bear Ghost. The school did a great job with a story and snacks in addition to the carving.
