The re-vamped Nazareth News Agency appears to be a hit with NewsOverCoffee readers (and their families).
The Wisser's attended the Magic Bean show at the News Agency over the weekend and were kind enough to forward along this photo and these comments:
We attended the concert at the News Agency Saturday evening. It was great fun. Every member of Magic Bean is an accomplished musician. Their covers of other people's songs are excellent and their original material is better!
Unfortunately from where I was the excellent drummer wasn't visible, blocked by the guitar player.
I recommend the News Agency concerts highly and I urge those who can play or sing to show up for the Open Mike nights on Tuesdays.
In the interest of full disclosure I must say I'll be working at the News Agency very soon, but if that were not true my recommendation would be the same.
I don't doubt that. Each email I've received about the News Agency has been along the same lines. I visited at the start of fall when it was being transitioned and will make a point of actually getting up to visit again in the near future (though we all know how busy it gets with the Holidays rolling in).

I may have missed an address somewhere, but where would events like this take place? Is it a coffee house type scene or more of a bar like scene with entertainment?
The Nazareth News Agency is located on Main Street between E.Center (circle) and Mauch Chunk/Belvidere.
Also nearby on the same side of the street is the US and Nazareth Floral Design and across the street the furniture and hardware stores.
It is a coffee house set up now.
