Stockertown Borough ends relationship with Fire Company

Alyssa Young of the Express-Times reports (read the story here) that Stockertown Borough voted to end its relationship with the Fire Company and will utilize the services of Forks Township.

The article states:
"They have not performed up to the expectations of the borough council," Council Vice President Paul Zaboy said Tuesday, citing problems with the volunteer fire department's finances, communications and organization.
