Bowers Loses Chairmanship

The Morning Call's Arlene Martinez reports (read the article here) that Nazareth Council President Dan Chiavaroli has changed the chairperson of the transition committee formerly headed by Conrad Bowers. Jack Herbst, a member of the committee, will be the new chairperson. It was Herbst who made the motion to have open meetings as a matter of procedure.

Bowers had cast the lone vote against open meetings and then did not allow public comment at the transition committee meeting last Monday, leading to the change.
