Get in the Ring - Nazareth's Mike Miller to Make WXW Debut
Nazareth resident Mike Miller, a world squat record holder and owner of Nazareth Barbell Powertraining, is taking his 320+ pounds of muscle, athleticism, and charisma and putting it in the squared circle of professional wrestling.
Mike was invited by the WWE to come to Atlanta this past August for a tryout. Since then he has been training in Allentown with Afa, the Wild Samoan, a former tag team world champion.
His training has paid off as his pro wrestling debut has been announced for Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the at the Mountainville Memorial Hall Arena, South 4th St., Allentown (Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.).
A schedule of WXW events is available here.
While not officially affiliated with the WWE, the WXW is both a training program and event promoter. Run by Afa, the WXW competitors are trained with the intent of being invited to the next level as has Afa Jr., who recently moved up to the WWE developmental center.
Good luck to Mike on this new endeavor!

Who cares?
I respect that not everyone is going to be interested in everything, but it doesn't mean because it is not interesting to you it might not be to someone else.
If you have information to share send it to me. I've yet to not post something (though that may change based on what I receive)I've been asked to. At the same time, if you read something that is not of interest let it go, no need to be snippy or snide (especially during the holidays!-)
Best wishes,
Thanks for the support!!
We are all looking forward to seeing Mike in the ring!
