JD Malone of the Express-Times had a nice article on Monday (read it here) about the Dutch n' Such restaurant on Main Street in Nazareth. While many have seen the beautiful new storefront, the doors have remained closed for some time.
Malone reports that the restaurant was scheduled to open in October, but a contractor working on the hoods, fans, and vents in the kitchen did not meet specifications to meet code and as a result the restaurant owners lost $10,000 plus three months of business and rent. A tough start for any venture, but in this case the family came through to help out and the opening is now scheduled for end of January.
