Early Dismissal - 11:00 am Elementary: 11:45 Secondary
Direct from NASD:
There will be an early dismissal today. Elementary schools (including AM Kindergarten) will dismiss at 11:00 am with no lunch. Secondary schools will dismiss at 11:45 am with no lunch. There will be no PM Kindergarten today.

Has anyone ever thought about what happens to the food the cafeteria has prepared for lunches when the school district calls for an early dismissal? I'll tell you, as a former cafeteria employee, the food will be thrown away because we more than likely will not have school tomorrow. Isn't there a food bank or homeless shelters we could donate this food too? Talk about wasting money!! What about all the kids going to daycare who do not pack a lunch because they plan on eating at school? I thought I remember Dr. Lesky saying early dismissals would be after lunches were served. What happened to that idea? Just curious...
I would like to compliment the district on the notification for the early dismissal. I received an email from the district and I received a recorded call on my cell phone. I greatly appreciate the notifications!!
