Bernie O'Hare's Lehigh Valley Ramblings blog has noted that Mark Franczak has withdrawn from the District Magistrate race. Franczak's petition and residency were questioned and as opposed to pursuing the candidacy Franczak apparently has ended his campaign.
Five additional candidates have announced their campaigns for the seat previously held by Elmo Fry.
