The Nazareth Area School Board met on Monday, March 26, 2007, and Kelly-Anne Suarez of the Morning Call reports (read it here), as expected, that the NASD approved both the Teachers' Contract and Lesky's pay raise, both retroactive until 7/1/06.
Brad, who usually sends his notes, was not certain if he'd be able to attend, and Kelley who also often posts, was also uncertain. Hopefully one of them made it so the granular detail of the other decisions is made available.

The only comment I have is to Dr. Lesky's statement that now the teachers can focus all of their energy on the students. The teachers always focused all of their energy on the students. If we were not concerned about the students, we would have went on strike at the beginning of the school year.
