Boulton and the Henry Gun Factory

The Express-Times had a nice article (read it here) on the Henry Gun Factory and historic sites in Boulton.

A guided tour for 25 people was held Saturday and visitors saw:
Among the stops were the 1812 Henry Homestead, the 1834 John Joseph Henry House Museum and the Pennsylvania Longrifle Museum. The Longrifle Museum houses an impressive collection of vintage Henry-built muskets, rifles and hand pistols.
The gun-making actually began on Main Street in Nazareth in a shop located in the area of the Us and the News Agency. It moved to Boulton when Henry received a large contract and church leaders delayed on making a decision on his request to increase the factory size in town.
