Budget Hearing for NASD tonight where the board can take official action. It appears the tax hike will be fixed at 4.2%, but what items will be cut, will the class sizes be addressed (there were three being viewed as too high), and what else will come up?
Northampton Community College's Neighborhood Design Center's Open House - Partnership with Nazareth, will begin at 7:00 p.m. at 113 South Main Street and will include a short presentation on the Main Street Approach to downtown development. Drawings and models of homes and businesses will be provided by NCC architecture and interior design students.
Candidate Open House will take place tomorrow - Thursday - at the Nazareth News Agency from 7 to 9:00 p.m. and will feature all five candidates for District Magistrate. Take a moment to stop in and meet the people who want your vote and may decide your fate if you ever wind up before a magistrate (traffic violations, landlord/tenant disputes, and amounts contested under $8000.00).
