Tonight is the first of three candidate nights being held at the Nazareth News Agency from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Main Street in Nazareth. Make plans to stop in for a few minutes to meet candidates in an informal, open house format.
This is a non-partisan, no cost event designed to give people and candidates the chance to meet one another. There will be no speeches or debates, it will be an open house format.
Many thanks to those who helped me reach out to candidates yesterday. Fred Daugherty, Charlie Donello, and Jennie Williams will be there tonight along with County Council candidates Peg Ferraro and John Maher and County Controller candidate Stephen Barron. I also anticipate a few others making it as well.
Also be sure to save these dates:
On Thursday, April 26, 2007 candidates running for Nazareth School Board and District Judge. District Magistrate candidates: Todd Buskirk, John Capobianco, Yvonne Falcone, Gary Hammer, and Alan Siegfried have confirmed, as has School Board candidate Chad Cornell.
On Wednesday, May 9, 2007, all candidates are invited to attend this 'alternate' open house in the event of conflicts on previous dates (there was a County Council meeting on the 19th).
Many thanks to the candidates who have agreed to participate and I hope many from the community will stop in for a few minutes to meet the people who want to lead our community.
