More Candidates to Participate in Open House

I now have confirmation from the five district judge candidates, but only 2 from County Council, none from Borough Council, and 1 from School Board. If you are running for office in these positions (or others that Nazareth area residents will vote for) come out and meet the voters. I'll add your name to the list, just email your intent to participate (editor@newsovercoffee.com).

Each night will be an open house from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Nazareth News Agency on Main Street in Nazareth. Candidates will have a table and residents can stop in and meet the people who are seeking their votes. This will be an informal event with no speeches or debates, simply an opportunity to get to know the candidates and ask them questions one-to-one.

To date I have confirmed:

On Thursday, April 19, 2007 candidates running for Borough Council and County Council.
County Council candidate Peg Ferraro and John Maher and County Controller candidate Stephen Barron have confirmed.

On Thursday, April 26, 2007 candidates running for Nazareth School Board and District Judge. District Magistrate candidates: Todd Buskirk, John Capobianco, Yvonne Falcone, Gary Hammer, and Alan Siegfried have confirmed, as has School Board candidate Chad Cornell.

On Wednesday, May 9, 2007, all candidates are invited to attend this 'alternate' open house in the event of conflicts on previous dates (there was a County Council meeting on the 19th).
