The Express-Times reports that a party at a home in the 700 block of Nazareth Pike (route 191) resulted in 17 citations for underage drinking (read it here). The Morning Call has an article this morning which notes much of the same information and adds it was at 705 Nazareth Pike (read it here).
According to the article, while a band played in the basement for 40 people, the homeowner, who was away and his girlfriend, who was asleep upstairs, were unaware of any alcohol being available to the underage party-goers.
Heading into the end of school year, prom, and graduation, let's hope people are diligent about preventing (or at least not providing the means to/for) underage drinking that always seem to lead to problems and tragedies.
