Brad Moulton's full report on the School Board Meeting is available here.
The Express-Times also has a report focused on the MS building vote (read it here).
The article notes how the contingency fund has been dropped from $3M to less than $1M as a result of alternatives being accepted by the district over the original expected costs. (Also, the scoreboards noted in Brad's post are indicated as costing an additional $178,000).
Councilmember Tom Maher is noted as having voted against the recommendation because it spent all money plus 2/3 or more of the contingency and he didn't feel the board had enough information or enough time with the information.
