The release notes that subscribers "now have more options in how, when and where they can access the Internet, use e-mail or view a variety of entertainment services."
It goes on to say:

AT&T's announcement is great news for Pennsylvania consumers and their craving for next-generation wireless applications. Too bad we have to wait until the end of 2008 for Apple's iPhone to come with 3G support. Currently it only works on the EDGE network.
Though a bit slower, ATT's edge network has been in our area for some time. I've used it quite a bit on more than a few iPhones and other smart phones. However, the "broadband" like speeds offered through 3G are that much more sweet.
Hopefully, the prices for wireless internet come down as demand goes up. It's still quite pricey.
What I'm really waiting for is Verizon's FIOS service to hit our area. I've just received a letter verifying RCN will be installing fiber in our developments out here near Gracedale.
Stilfx,
You may want to check the latest pricing. I pay $42 a month for unlimited access on my ATT 3G AirCard.
