Rachel's Challenge at High School

The Morning Call also included the following announcement regarding school programs and this event also took place on Thursday:

NAZARETH AREA HIGH SCHOOL will hold Rachel's Challenge programs at 7:45 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday. The school assembly and training program enables students to bring positive change to their school atmosphere. At 7 p.m. a community session will be conducted in the high school auditorium to challenge parents and community leaders to reinforce the decisions their youth are making because of the program. Rachel Scot was the first student killed at Columbine on April 20, 1999. For information, call Mary Pritchard at 610-759-1730 ext. 2218 or mpritchard@ nazarethasd.org online.
Seems interesting, did anyone go? I know the Nazareth police chief and members of council were at the workshop where I was. This topic came up several times in different ways throughout the spring and summer at Council meetings so it is too bad it occurred on the same evening.

If anyone attended please let us know what was discussed and whether or not it was valuable.
