The siren has now gone off six times beginning at 10:45 p.m. and it will go at least two more because each time it is activated it goes off four times.
Tonight this was discussed at length and eventually a solution will be had, but in the meantime I'd suggest that the alarm only be activated once with no repeat allowed.
I say this because it was noted that when a call comes in to 911, the alarm is activated and until a response is made from emergency services to 911 that a unit on its way or on the scene, the alarm will keep sounding despite that all responders are paged as well. Further it sounds in groups of four blasts, which can't be changed until we either purchase software or pay for a siren company employee to visit (the option to buy the software was accepted).
Let's hope the FedEx delivery is included in the software purchase.

Ross, (or anyone else) do you know if Upper Naz siren is also tied into the boro? It also went off at the same time, although not as long. Thanks!
