The Morning Call reports that Bethlehem may be looking to strike a deal with Easton's water authority to purchase the customer accounts of Lower Nazareth residents (read the article here).
Bethlehem is seeking new revenue sources as it is way below capacity. Unfortunately for Lower residents, they too are seeking a rate hike, though a comparison of rates between the two was not included in the article.

Aahh,
A tax increase, an increase in water rates (whether we stick with ESWA or switch to Bethlehem), but it is worth it to live in this paradise known as Lower Nazareth Township.
We have such a wonderful board of supervisors, and a township manager that is just the sharpest tack in the box.
My guess is we will see little, or better yet, decreased services from the township, but given the leasership, who would be surprised.
I only question how they people can not only face themselves in the mirror, but how they can face their neighbors.
But then again, I have seen them on many occasions turn on the citizens they supposedly represent.
