Police Report
The Morning Call reports that 19 year old Christopher Luckern entered a home at 37 Mauch Chunk (this home) in the borough and has been charged with criminal attempt, theft, underage drinking and disorderly conduct (read the article here).
The reason why you can't link directly to ncpub.org is to prevent identity thieves and salesmen from generating lists that amount to an invasion of privacy. Originally, that site enabled just that, and it also enabled stalkers because it also included a list of properties by owner's name. In one instance, a fellow was able to trace a woman by looking at assessment records. The system has been changed to protect your privacy while still making records available by address if not by name.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but isn't the information still available? It simply isn't online. If you use the county system in the deeds office (or through the subscription) can you find the info the way you previously were able online?
I know you know this stuff so your insight would be much appreciated.

From the list that appears click on 37.
There you can get property owner information and if you look to the right you can click on photo and see which home.

I can still get on the site by going to ncpub.org.
You have to type the "www" otherwise it won't work...www.ncpub.org.
