Borough Businesses
The Express-Times reports on Diva Wash and Dry located on Belvidere Street in the Borough (read it here). An accompanying article notes that Rio's Restaurant (on Broad in the former Broad St. Tavern and Al's Front Porch location) is scheduled to open today and that Herbs to Your Success, a weight loss spa is moving into Koehler's also on Belvidere (read the article here).

Personally, I think the charm of downtown Nazareth depends upon the appearance of the buildings that line the street. I'm not saying a laundromat could not be present where it is, but the appearance of it on the outside could have been made more conducive to the "colonial appeal" we are trying to achieve in downtown.
Ross,
Tonight my wife, daughter and I were among the first to experience Rio's Brazilian Restaurant on South Broad Street in Nazareth.
We opted for the rodizio. For $21.95 you have an all you can eat brazilian buffet of hot and cold salads and side dishes. Also you are served charcoal pit grilled beef, pork and chicken, all sliced tableside from scewers by a pleasant and attentive wait staff. The meats are moist, tender and delicious. The sirloin was exceptionally good. We also sampled grilled pineapple, which was a treat. Our dinner was finished with a passionfruit pudding and brazilian coffee.
Rio's Brazilian Restaurant can be described as a meat lover's garden of eden. There are also burgers and sandwiches to chose from.
I encourage anyone who loves charcoal pit barbequed meat to visit Rio's for lunch or dinner. It's an exceptional value and you'll be glad you did.
I went to a Brazilian Restaurant in Philly a month ago and it was a non-stop run of all manner of meat. To be honest, people who had been there before advised me to simply skip the salad bar in favor of the tableside and they were right.
Glad to hear the skewers were on hand and that the food was great - love a place within a block or two walking distance to eat at.
Can't wait to visit Rios!
