The Morning Call reports, but qualifies, that a Sonic is coming to Lower Nazareth at the 248 and 33 interchange (read the article here).
Local investors say yes the franchise is coming, but the Call's attempt to confirm with the chain were not successful. Apparently early attempts to bring the chain to the area had failed.

Yeah, another fast food joint.
Maybe they will build another dunkin donuts next door and you can get a meal and dessert without ever leaving the comfort of your car.
We should rename the area to heart failure square.
And people wonder why there is an obesity problem.

well at least it's not another pizza joint.
the fast food places are not the only reason for our obesity problem. look at the portions most eating places serve.
face it, people are going to eat what they want and where they want and most importantly where they can afford to, no matter what anyone says to them. and quite frankly, since this is the land of the free i think it's their right to do so.
Sassy,
I agree with you in regard to people having the right to make decisions on their own.
The problem with this, however, comes when those decisions then burden the rest of us.
If you are going to make decisions on your own, then you need to be responsible for the consequences, not turn to government or others to then bail you out.
Obesity is a national problem because treating the medical implications falls on all of us.
My insurance rates aren't based on how healthy I am, but are based on what the insurance company needs to receive from those who don't tax the system to make up for those who do.
When people are obese they are more prone to many more medical maladies.
We need a health system that prevents first, treats second, which is not what we have now. And I could go on and on about insurance.
The presidential election will bring massive change in this regard, whether it will be good or bad is a whole other ball game.
Thanks for reading and participating.
Have a great weekend!
ross you state:
The presidential election will bring massive change in this regard
how so?
Won't this hurt Nazareth when they are trying to get more people to visit in town, plus you have a WaWa coming also.
Well, the site is currently hiring, so it's not really a secret anymore, despite the fact that there's nary a comment in the morning call's archive.
