I mentioned the Adult Soapbox Derby in the Council minutes - here is more information.
West Prospect Street, from the top of the hill near Wood Street to the bottom at Green Street is the strip that will be used for the event on Saturday, May 3, 2008 (rain or shine and I hope its sunny).
Practice will be 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with races beginning at noon.
There are quite a few technical specs and a registration fee $20.00 per car pre-registration and $25.00 per car day of event.
Proceeds will be donated to the Nazareth Center for the Arts
