Arts Commission Logo Design Contest

Logo Design Contest

The Nazareth Cultural and Arts Commission is currently in the planning stages of converting 30 Belvidere Street, Nazareth into an arts and cultural center. The building originally was the firehouse for Nazareth Vigilance Hose Co 1 and recently housed the Nazareth Police Department.

Plans include reception and multi-use spaces for theatrical and musical performances and visual arts exhibitions.

The planned theater is the first project in the revitalization of the business district of Nazareth Borough.

The Nazareth Cultural and Arts Commission is seeking a logo design to identify the new “Nazareth Center for the Arts”

We are looking for a simple, fun design, which is strong, appealing and suitable for many modes of communication media.

The logo design may use color but must also translate well into black and white.

The logo is intended to be used on banners; flags; signage; a website; brochures; stationary and business cards; t-shirts (and anything else we can think of). We seek a design that can capsulate the spirit of the performing and visual arts in Nazareth.

The name and photo of the winner and design will be posted and advertised. The winner basically gets portfolio and bragging rights.

Designs will be accepted through the end of the business day Wednesday

April 30, 2008.

All submissions should be delivered or addressed to:
