IDI Takes LN to Court
Industrial Development Inc. (IDI) has taken Lower Nazareth to court over restrictions placed by the township on IDI's proposed warehouse according to the Morning Call (read it here).
This is where things get interesting. I wonder if Palmer will help foot the legal bill for Lower Nazareth. If they don't, I see little reason why Lower Nazareth should defend restrictions that have minimal effect on the majority of it's taxpaying base.
The question is why hasn't anyone asked how the LN BOS have gotten us to this this point.
They seem to think the path to economic prosperity is in building as many truck terminals as they can. Yet, when I drive by the ones already in place, they are mostly not in use.
So I ask, why do we let more be built?
Why aren't we trying to attract professional businesses that have hundreds of employees instead of these massive terminals that take up huge amounts of space, employ relatively few people and bring hundreds of additional trucks to our local roads on a daily basis.
All you have to do is attend a BOS meeting and you will know. This group does not have the interest of the community in their agenda. Just watch how they have verbally abused the citizens of this community that disagree with their "agenda".
If IDI wins, I think that every member of the BOS should resign, the solicitor should be replaced.
THEY, not the residents of Palmer Township, have put us in this in this position. The solicitor should have made sure anything in place was iron clad and litigation proof, and the BOS are the ones that selected him, so they clearly don't know how to pick quality people.

Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got till it's gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
