Slow News Days

Seems the past few days I didn't see much in the way of news, nor did I get alerts from readers, so I thought I'd do some old fashion surfing and found a few interesting items:
  • The Altoona Mirror has a database of superintendents (view the list here) that includes salary and terms of employment including the contract. Dr. Lesky's page is here, and his contract is here.
  • Furst Architecture has an overview of the new MS project (view it here) which includes contractors, costs, descriptions, and a few thumbnail sized computer images of the new building. It does note building capacity is 1318 for 7th & 8th grade and that the project will be completed in August 2009. The 2009-2010 projected enrollment per figures released last year was 783, in this year's re-configuration packet it is listed as 789 and 845, and there are currently 715 students in 5th & 6th grade who will comprise the first 7th and 8th grade class in the building.
  • Furst Architecture also has testimonials, the first of which is from Dr. Lesky (view it here)
  • An additional Nazareth Project on the site is the Maintenance Building (view it here)
