HS Anonymous Tip Line

I don't know the specifics of how an anonymous tip line works (is it technologically guaranteed or based on trust), but I did notice that the HS has now instituted one (view the notice here).

To save you the trip - here is the description from the NASD site:

In response to the recent bomb threats, graffiti and vandalism at Nazareth Area High School, the administration has instituted an anonymous tip line. Anyone with credible information regarding any inappropriate activity at the high school is encouraged to call and share the information with the principal.

What do you think? Will this help? Will kids trust to use it?

I was also surprised to learn about graffiti and vandalism at the school. Of course I don't have a student there so I don't get first hand information, but I'm still surprised this is a problem there.
