Thefts Continue in Lower Nazareth

The Express-Times reports (read it here) that cars in Lower Nazareth continue to be broken into with thieves taking GPS systems, cell phones, and computers.

"The actors are taking anything that they can carry," a news release from police says.

Someone, please tell me... Why on EARTH do the police refer to the perpetrators/thieves as "actors?" Are they PRETENDING to steal GPS systems, computers and purses, or are they actually doing it? What very odd use of words chosen for the police news release. I certainly hope it's not because the police don't want to offend the scum that are preying upon (dim?) people who leave their car doors unlocked with COMPUTERS and GPS sysytems in them.

Jeez Louise.

Good point Elyssia! Perhaps the police feel that these "Actors" are just performing in minor roles that do not warrant much attention. The real crimes, in their eyes, are down the road when these players move on to the stage of capital offenses. Stay vigilant
