Upper Nazareth's deal with Tuskes Homes which resulted in the township getting a park in exchange for allowing Tuskes Homes to put more homes than zoning allowed has apparently gone sour.
Supervisors are now discussing whether or not to sue the home builder for failure to complete the park.
The township has $400,000 of Tuskes money in escrow, but it was noted at the meeting that the amount won't cover the cost to complete the park.

Well no surprise here! Once again, in my opinion, Tuskes is pushing buttons (as that builder has done in the past with other projects within the township), once again, in my opinion, our wonderful township supervisors act surprised that Tuskes didn't keep his promise, and once again, the escrow ($400,000) isn't enough to cover the work that is left. SO, here we are-taxpayers-being faced with our wonderful supervisors contemplating a law suit against this builder who really has a track record of incompletion. c'mon....is anyone suprised by ANY of this? I will now predict what might happen.....supervisors send Tuskes an intent to sue, in the 11th hour Tuskes comes forward with some MINOR work completion (like throwing a dog a bone), maybe the supervisors release a portion of the escrow, maybe not, but in the end Tuskes walks away-oh maybe for another year or two....so don't make any plans to use that park anytime soon!
