Vandalism in the Borough

Two reports of vandalism in the borough of Nazareth were reported to police having occurred on Sunday according to a report in the Morning Call today (read it here).

The first was at Washington Park, the second at 335 West Belvidere.

Both incidents involved spray paint. One in yellow/orange with foul language, the other in black with vulgar language.

Do you know if anything is being done to repair the damage?

At Washington Park, they came and painted two of the benches, but there is still a lot of damage around. Most of the spray paint there was pink. Hopefully, they will fix it soon. I'm tempted to go out and paint it myself.

Easton has a program where if someone volunteers to paint over it the police department will provide the materials. So check with the police department if you are willing to do the painting.
