Nazareth Police are hoping that DNA testing will provide information in a 30 year old unsolved murder case according to the Express-Times (read the article here).
The testing was prompted by a case in Easton that occurred about the same time as the one in Nazareth. The Easton case used DNA and after many months testing evidence was found that linked an individual to the murder victim. The Easton detective who submitted the evidence provided information to PA State Police who reviewed it and contacted Nazareth Police.
