School Board Meeting

There was a school board meeting on Monday. Sorry for the delay, if you were there maybe you could post some additional insight in the comments. From the agenda the important items appear to be:

2009-2010 Tax Index (the amount you should expect your taxes to increase):

• General - 4.1% (statewide average?)
• Nazareth - 5.0%

What we don't know is the amount of exceptions the NASD may have to go over this amount.

There was a 'possible' resolution for new debt and debt restructuring. No further information regarding for what purpose or how much.

There were 23 facility use requests and again some groups were charged fees others that were to be charged had fees waived. Seems we need to have consistency with this and should either apply the fees per the policy or change the policy.

The agenda said there was an attachment regarding enrollment, but I didn't see one. The document was 58 pages due to many policies (previously mentioned on this site) being approved.
