A Nazareth youth, Nicholas Cavallo, 17, was involved in a street racing accident in Bethlehem Township that sent himself and two others to the hospital. Cavallo was treated and released, but the two others are in serious condition, according to the Morning Call (read it here) and Express-Times (read it here).
Kyle Korutz of Bethlehem was traveling south on Schoenersville Road and making a left onto Stoke Park Road when he was struck by a Chevy Blazer, being driven by Steven Buchman of Wind Gap and whose passenger was Cavallo. The article doesn't specifically state he was driving the vehicle that struck Korutz, but it does say he is facing possible charges of reckless driving.
Witnesses noted a black Chevy Blazer and white Chevy Cavalier left the Sheetz travelling north on Schoenersville at a very high rate of speed. The Blazer struck the civic of Korutz and the Cavalier driven by Anthony Swirsding of Easton Avenue was not involved in the crash.
