Got a note from a reader asking if I was aware of locker searches at the end of last week in the MS.
I was not, but did hear from some people that there were two at the HS, one each on Thursday and Friday.

Yes, there were locker searches as part of an emergency drill and lock down the end of last week. My daughters attend the middle school. I received an automated call stating it was happening. My girls said there were police dogs and some lockers searched as a result of the dogs. The students were kept in the classrooms and the whole thing only lasted one class period - about 45 minutes.
