The current Nazareth Speedway was mothballed when ISC decided to move race dates to other facilities and put the venue up for sale. The final nail was placed in the coffin of the storied track when ISC added a clause to any sale banning its use as a speedway, but that hasn't stopped racing in Nazareth.
Last year we saw the birth of the adult soap box derby, the group plans to hold at least one annual event, and the Express-Times reports on the Cub Scout's Pushmobile Race that took place at the Nazareth Area Middle School (read the article here).
