Dogs Allowed, now a Dog Park

The Morning Call has an article on the new Dog Park at the Borough Park (read it here).

The Dog Park sits on a piece of land at the Borough Park that previously allowed dogs.

I had my dog in this area a very few times, but it was nice, wide open, and on a hill so she got great exercise.

I'm not sure I like the idea of fencing it in and calling it a dog park. The original plan was to create one adjacent to Kiwanis Park but that fell through. I could see the fencing in this area because of the road and nearby children's play area.

Will be interesting to see how this shapes up over time.
