Vandalism at Shafer

The Morning Call reports (read the article here) that a spate of vandalism at Shafer Elementary has prompted the School Board to purchase exterior cameras ($35,000).

I'm not aware of the extent of damage, and this was the first I'd seen it reported.

There had been other vandalism issues over the past year or so at other public facilities such as the Library (individuals were caught recently) and at the Park.

I would have to think that the vandalism was significant to make this kind of investment, and let's hope it is effective in catching the individuals doing the damage.
