NASD to Search for new Intermediate School Busing

Received an email from Jacob who attended the school board meeting, which apparently got a bit heated, and forwarded to me the following (Thanks Jacob!):

The contract negotiations between NASD and Jennings are over [regarding the Intermediate School Building Transportation only].

A motion was made by Lorin Bradley to direct the NASD administration to advertise for transportation for NAIS. The motion was seconded by Tom Maher. The vote was as follows- Yes Maher, Treon, Bradley, Linda, John, Chris. No Butz, Heller. Yes won. John Marino then tried to rescind his vote, but it was not allowed.

Later they continued to discuss transportation and Tom asked who is on the contract negotiation team. Butz said there is no longer such a team due to the previous motion. Tom Mahr then threw his stuff down said "I disagree with you" and he made a motion to remove Ken Butz from the position of President. That motion was later withdrawn due to the solicitor stating that that was not the time to make that motion.

After the meeting Tom Maher immediately picked up his stuff and exited the board room not saying a word to anyone.

So the NASD will be seeking a transportation company for the NAIS next school year and the year after.
