Young Author Contestants Recognized

Last Tuesday afternoon the Library recognized its 2009 Young Authors.

These students from K-12, submitted two copies of an illustrated story to the library.

There were age groups and a winner in each age group was to have their work published and entered into the library collection with one copy being provided to them.

Thanks to corporate sponsorship, everyone who entered had their work published again this year. I believe this is the sixth year for the program. As you can see from the picture there were a good number of entries again this year.

Many thanks to the library for again having this program for the children.
