The Nazareth Blogosphere Round-Up

Didn't appear to be much of anything related to Nazareth from the Express-Times or the Morning Call, so I took a stroll through the Nazareth Blogosphere this morning and thought it could be a good Friday or Saturday feature to do a round up of what is being written about. Here is what I've found (and of course in the future I will do a better job of remembering to hit the post button so the article appears first thing in the morning!)

Weird Nazareth only came to my attention recently, and I have to applaud everyone working on it. This is a great, quirky, cool site about our community, and I'm not saying that because they featured and credited me for a post idea (on the bowling balls in the Circle). The latest post is an examination of the Tunnel rumors. Great stuff with many pictures - check it out here.

The Lower Nazareth Forum's latest post was pre-election reminding individuals to vote and alerting them to a write in campaign.
Tatamy Happenings has forwarded an alert from the new Northampton County Emergency Alert service regarding aspirin being mailed. And there is nice round-up of happenings that was posted over the holiday weekend - read it here.
JD Malone's Nazareth Beat Blog is no longer as JD has moved over to Bethlehem and is doing well as I had a chance to catch up with him last week.
The latest restaurant review from Breakfast in the Valley is the City Diner. Several Nazareth area restaurants have been reviewed, check out the left sidebar of the site for a list of reviews.
The Steaming Cup of Joe has moved. At some point his link was changed so I've updated it on the left sidebar. Joe didn't have much to say about Nazareth except that he's not fond of bunnies and apparently lost Bernie's phone number.

Bernie's Lehigh Valley Ramblings spans national to local and he is most recently pondering non-partisan local elections. Earlier, he had some election result information and presented his viewpoint on the state of local democratic party and its leader.

Andy's Fan page didn't have any posts for Thursday or Friday, but he mentioned in one post he'd been to Sands so maybe he hit it big and is out celebrating;-)

Have a great weekend and be sure to check out some of these other local sites!

Thanks, Ross. And thanks to all of the great comments and suggestions we got from the NOC readers. But we can always use more. If anyone knows of anything that you want us to check out please e-mail us. Additionally, if any Nazareth residents would like to become contibutors to Weird Nazareth please contact us. As a contributor you can pursue and write your own Weird Nazareth blog posts; you would be a member of the team. Thanks everyone.
