The Express-Times reported yesterday on the vote last night to increase the school budget and build/renovate the field house (read the article here).
Okay, missed this first time around, but E-T did report that the increase was approved but didn't mention the fieldhouse (read it here).

So, a project originally scoped at $800K is now over $1MM. Knowing how good our district leadership is at containing costs, my guess is we will end up paying $1.5 to $2MM when all is said and done.
So, a direct question Dr. Lesky; Are you really that thick? Oh yes, same question to the school board.
You are screwing every tax paying resident in the are. Why?
Do we really need a state of the art field house? With the weight room at the fields, will anyone else get to use it?
Open the newspaper. People are losing jobs left and right. The economy is in the toilet. Can I make it any clearer to you?
