A library is a critical resource in a community. It is available for any individual, regardless of socio-economic status. It provides a wonderful leisure activity, reading, at no cost, but more importantly, if you can't afford internet, subscriptions to local newspapers, the ability to hire someone to fix something or do something for you, you can access that information at the library.
You can also take out audiobooks, videotapes, dvds, and they offer programs for children.
The loss of library services will impact everyone, but it will most impact those that most need a little help.
Contact your legislators and the Governors office to preserve current funding levels.
