I had a reader ask about the new Middle School open house that was mentioned in the Express-Times. I had not seen that article but did find this on the school web site (read it here):
“There will be an informal Open House for Students and Parents only on Thursday, August 27 from 6:00 PMto 8:00 PM.”
Students are those entering 7th or 8th grade this year, so no public open house at this time.

Yes, no member of the public should come to the MS for the open house. It is only for students and parents.
The board has decided to wait until October for an official dedication and open house. All projects should be completed by then.
I wonder if I should bring my bathing suit. Oh thats right....its not going to be filled according to Lesky.

Unfortunately no one from the board will be there i am sure. That will allow me to sneak into the pool and measure it, and if i fall into an empty pool, well then I can sue Lesky.
The "not going to fill it" quip was from the honorable (and I use the term loosely) Mr. Heller, I think.
We don't want to deny him his "props"!
