Amazing salaries and then a nice pay raise on top of that.....when many others are experiencing pay cuts, reduced work weeks, and unemployment....!!!!! Unbelievable!

Nothing is going to change this. This school district is populated by people who don't give a rat's behind, and that arrogant Board knows it. We overpay for Lesky's cronies that were unwanted by their prior employers, because he says we have to be competitive. Competitive? Let them go, let's see what options they have. I'll bet we can find a suitable replacement for anyone who does. I've been to a presentation by one on the list. He was inarticulate, to say the least. 100K is a lot of scratch for that kind of quality.

They build that strawman argument constantly, about losing people to other districts, whether it be the teachers union or the administration. The Saucon Valley teachers tried that bluff in this horrible economy. Their Board, however, had the guts and the INTEGRITY to call, and those teachers are going to end up with a lot less. And, lo and behold, the threatened exodus of the best and brightest never materialized!
